To get to my Luxor you have to go through the other Luxor. Some tribe love the East mound but I find it artificial with loads of hassle. My Luxor is the Occident Bank. The emblem of the two places is totally separate; it is not a case of the stream separating two districts. The East Knoll is much more developed and along the Nile there are many five luminary hotels cheek by jowl. Most of the voyager shopping is on the East, but few of the sites. The Occident Bank is more country; hotels are tiny, family run businesses in the medial of the village. Although there are many alabaster factories and a pair of papyrus institutes, the drawing for the tourist is the masses and masses of sights.

There are loads of ways to get to the other side from the railway or the airport. You can get a taxi circular the bridge. That takes a drawn out time as the build a bridge over is 9 km south of burgh. Also at various seasons of day the police can be a actual pain offensive tourists to gibbet. Certainly don’t try and gibbet before 6:00 am except you are going on a balloon hop. After sunset you will be stopped and quizzed on what national character you are and where are you going. You can also gibbet by motor boat. Right walk down the Corniche along the embankment and lots of race will offer you a intersection on a motor boat. That is a very acceptable way to get across and you get views of Luxor fane as you cross.
Finally, and my favorite, is the topical ferry. I offer this, as I am extremely unskilful about climbing on and off the motor boats, and always have to have my palm and fingers held. On the limited ferry I am spared this slight.
