Israel might be skilful to go on claiming that it will not be the first to usher in nuclear arms into the Middle East, but it cannot do the same having regard to another weapon of lump destruction: the bulldozer. The challenge that terror has adopted an pristine new weapon, a “new form” as the general security subordinate put it, once again shows how fit it is for us to present a one-sided and distorted engraving.
The bulldozer as a destructive and even fatal weapon was not invented by the Palestinians. They are only imitating an Israeli “shape” that is as old as the position, or at least as old as the occupation. Let us lose the remembrance of for a moment the 416 villages Israel wiped off the external part of the earth in 1948 - that was before there were D9 bulldozers - and point of concentration on a more modern cast. In Israel’s hands the bulldozer has become one of the most terrifying arms in the territories. The only contrariety between the Palestinians’ blood-guilty bulldozer and the Israeli bulldozer is in shade and size. As habitual, ours is bigger, much bigger. There is no parallelism between the small backhoe the Palestinian terrorist was driving and the fearsome D9 driven by Israel Defense Forces soldiers.
From the grow light of the occupation, Caterpillar has been a greater arms supplier to Israel, no less than those who procure planes, cannons and tanks. Not for nothing are tranquility activists wearisome to call for a boycott of the manufacturer. Israel has sown almost inconceivable destruction using ponderous equipment. Go to Rafah, stopping in Sovereign prince Yunis on the way, and see the results of the ruin scattered there to this day. Whole neighborhoods razed, the filling of houses - effects and memories - crushed under the treads. Have you ever seen a highway after being “stripped” by a bulldozer?
