Kato N Scale City of Los Angeles Passenger Car Set
The new Kato liberate of the Union Conciliatory City of Los Angeles 11-car traveller set is now at www.jimsmodeltrains.com and it’s a symmetry.
It features fire-brand-new prototype especial tooling for eight of the cars (the attention car is depicted in its pre-modified state to proudly expand its unique, illuminated, signboard). Each car is equipped with low flange wheels, Kato attractive knuckle couplers and impact absorber erection for smooth and trustworthy operation. Internal of cars can be lighted with the Kato Inward Light Kit (sold singly)
The “Incorporated town of Los Angeles” was one of the Combination Pacific’s “Incorporated town of” trains, and a not crooked competitor to trains such as the California West wind and Santa Fe Super Leading. With many railroads in the 1950′s vying for the circumspection of the travelling common, the Union Appeasing spend 10 a thousand thousand dollars in 1954 to upgrade its itinerant services, promoting its intrusting to high nature passenger labor as well as creating one of the most iconic trains of the of gold age of american railroading.
One of the most iconic images of this trail were its dome cars (“Domeliners”), which, cognate the California West wind, granted its passengers with an incomparable view of the countryside as the trail would make its trips between Chicago and Los Angeles.
