Olympians will take South Florida flavor to Beijing

BY LINDA ROBERTSON Four years after he tripped over the last hurdle and failed to make fit for the Athens Summer Games by a piece of a second, Bershawn Jackson is going to the Olympics.

''From Moore Park to Beijing,'' related Jackson, who grew up in Self-direction City. ``As kids we used to flourish that we would be Olympians, and now we indeed are. It's going to be large to represent Miami to the creation.''
THE ATHLETES
