Hoping/planning to buy a used BT3000... some quick questions.
Hello all, another newbie here.
I offer an excuse if this has been covered extensively in another support. I did try to look, but have a limited amount of duration.
I am answering a topical ad about a BT3000 for market and I wanted to apprehend if some experts could give me a brisk rundown and what to gaze at to ensure it is in becoming ~$200 produce.
I will ask to see it turned on to see and perceive by the ear the motor running, but what else should I gaze at?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Some background...
I have not used a tablet saw since high gymnasium shop rank. I started palm and fingers making wooden train cars for my son's wooden train sets, not long ago and found I enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I can't cut a direct line with a palm and fingers saw. (Even with a mitre box, I'm iffy.) The ring-shaped saw is too big for the little toy pieces I have been keen, but I could probably use it fairly well for larger pieces. Also, my wife of one's bosom has seized on my woodworking interest as a accident for me to make her things. ;)
I notion I had some cash to part with and I came absolutely close to acquisition a Bosch 4100 on vent. But after some soul (and tumulus account) penetrating, I realized I lawful can't afford it now. So used is my superlatively good option and the BT3x00 seemed similar a good flinch for a newbie with actual capability for the subsequent time. Particularly with such dedicated following of people here.
